What I'm Reading . . .

Osama bin Laden had 500 Euros in cash and two telephone numbers sewn into his clothing when he was killed.
Note: Why sewn into his clothes?
Only 500 Euros? What was that going to get him . . . a bus out of Paki?
And who was he going to call?

Former Playboy pinup and B-movie actress Yvette Vickers died at the age of 82. But it wasn't until a year later—last Wednesday—that her mummified body was found in her Beverly Hills home.
Paul: "Maybe this is just the next stage of her acting career . . .working with Brendan Fraser in 'The Attack of the 50 Foot Mummy'".

The sustainability movement isn't going to "sustain" anything unless everyone gets on board.
No one thinks they are going to save the planet. Because, for every guy you see with a sustainable mug at Starbuck's, you see 10 others who aren't. Okay, you do what you can and hold tight to the belief that we can all make an impact. But 'everyone getting on board' is going to take a while (if not too long to matter.) And we should have never coined this thing the Green Movement because it made it something trendy, something that people would reject because in it, it became some sort of partisan issue. Liberals are Green. It should have been something around 'saving America' because it seems to be the only thing we can all actually mutually agree upon.
I don't know. I just keep picturing some jackass in a Lincoln Navigator throwing out his third can of RockStar energy drink out the window while hitting a rabbit as heads out to his hog farm to clear out the brush so he can grow an invasive species around his giant pool that is always heated and is used twice a year when he heads to Walmart to buy foam noodles and plastic inner-tube so he can float around and chug Budweiser with his 5 friends who love to jet-ski. That guy, I bet you that guy is saying 'Fuck those liberals. I'll do exactly what I want."
I'm just saying - how could you have gotten that guy 'on board'? How do you?
